These terms are an agreement between you and Rostislav Radionov, conducting business activity registered in Poland (“we”), about using Woodwide. By creating an account you accept them.
Woodwide arranges meetings between strangers in the physical world. For that reason it is for adults only, with no exceptions. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up. Giving a false date to get access is a breach of these terms and grounds for permanent removal.
We provide a place to publish and find meetups, and to talk to the people going to them. We are not a party to your meetings. We do not arrange them, supervise them, or vet the people you meet.
This is the part worth reading twice.
We do not verify anyone's identity. A profile shows what its owner chose to write. Someone who behaves well in a chat may behave badly in person. Please use ordinary caution:
You take part in meetups at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what happens between people who met through Woodwide, and we do not compensate for harm arising from a meeting. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or intentional wrongdoing.
You may not:
Every profile, meetup, club and message can be reported in the app. We review reports and respond within 24 hours.
Depending on what happened, we may hide content, warn an account, limit what it can do, or remove it permanently. Reports from several different people about the same account may lead to automatic restrictions before a human review.
You can block anyone at any time. Blocking is mutual and silent: you disappear from each other's app, and the blocked person is not told.
If you disagree with a decision about your account, write to support@woodwide.app — a person will look at it.
What you write and upload stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, and to show it to the people it is meant for. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
You are responsible for what you publish and confirm you have the right to publish it.
Woodwide is currently free and contains no purchases. If that changes, we will say so in advance, and anything you have already done will not become paid retroactively.
You can delete your account at any moment in Profile → Delete account, with no explanation required.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, endangers other people, or is used to circumvent an earlier removal. Where circumstances allow, we say why.
We do our best to keep the service running but do not promise it will be available without interruption. We may change or discontinue features. If we shut the service down, we will give notice in the app so you can export your data first.
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Woodwide after that means you accept the new version.
Polish law applies. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules in your country of residence. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts; consumers may also use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
